Princess birthday party ideas that are not just a dress code
The costumes arrive on their own. What you need is thirty minutes of structure after the crowns come off.

The Princess pack is $9 on its own, and one theme pack is already included with the Box.
The plan
Two hours of princess party
Food
- Tea-party sandwiches with the crusts off, on the smallest plates you own.
- Strawberries and cream in cups, which look expensive and are not.
- A single tall cake with one colour of frosting and a lot of sprinkles.
Decorations
- Fairy lights and pastel paper. Two things, one afternoon of setup.
- A mirror by the door with a bowl of crowns next to it.
- Fabric draped over the back of one chair to make a throne for the photograph.
One thing that isn’t a screen
A crown-decorating table set up before anyone arrives, so early guests have something to do.
What usually goes wrong
Costumes plus energetic games means someone stands on a dress. Keep the arcade stations on a table, not the floor.
A running order that works
0:00–0:20
Arrival
Guests trickle in over twenty minutes. Have the on-arrival activity out and the TV showing the attract screen.
0:20–0:45
The activity
One thing off the screen, with a clear end. Twenty-five minutes is the ceiling.
0:45–1:00
Cake
Sing, cut, hand it out. Do not do this at the start; sugar first is a mistake you make once.
1:00–1:40
The tournament
Five games on the TV, four kids at a time, names entered once. This is the loudest and easiest forty minutes of the party.
1:40–2:00
Wind down
Free play on the console, party bags by the door, parents arriving. The screen keeps everyone in one room while you hand out bags.
The arcade
All 38 games, in Princess colours
A theme pack is a full reskin — art and palette — over mechanics that already work. These four suit a princess party particularly well.
The invitation
3 ways a princess invitation can look
Free with every package, and it is the same page your guests actually open — a countdown, the address, a map and a two-tap RSVP. No ads, no account, nothing to install.
