Terms of Service
What you are buying, what we owe you, and what happens when something goes wrong. Written to be read.
Version 2026-09-01 · config revision 0
These terms cover bashcade.com, the invitation sites we host for you, and the arcade console. They are an agreement between you and Bashcade, Inc.. If you book a party package, the Party Package & Equipment Agreement covers the equipment itself and takes precedence wherever the two disagree.
What you are buying
A party package: an invitation site, a Party Pass that unlocks the games for a stated window, and — on the packages that ship — the temporary use of our equipment. It is a service with equipment attached, not a lease and not a financing arrangement. Nothing you pay is an instalment toward ownership; the option to keep the box is a separate, optional purchase at a stated price.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older to book. The party is for children; the agreement is with you.
- Keep your login to yourself. Tell us at help@bashcade.com if you think someone else has it.
- You can delete your account at any time. That deletes your parties, your invitation sites and every RSVP on them, cascading, within 30 days.
Using the service
Do not:
- Re-rent, resell or commercially exhibit a kit that belongs to us.
- Modify the equipment, open the enclosures, or replace the software on it.
- Use an invitation site to collect anything from a child directly, or to send anything to one.
- Attempt to break, scrape or overload the service, or to reach another customer’s data.
Anything you upload — a photograph, a child’s first name, a party description — stays yours. You give us permission to host and display it for the purpose of running your party, and nothing else. We will not use a photograph of a child in marketing without a separate, written, revocable release from that child’s parent.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and tick the SMS box at checkout, you agree to receive text messages from Bashcade about your order and your party: the booking confirmation, the invitation link, shipping and delivery notices, the reminder to test the kit, a message on party day, return reminders and the deposit refund. These are service messages, not marketing. Expect roughly 8 to 12 texts per booking, spread over about four weeks; message frequency varies with your party date. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help; opting out stops the texts and nothing else — the same updates still reach you by email. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying anything. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The invitation site
Every party gets one, free, whether or not you rent anything. It carries no advertising, no third-party tracking pixels and no email gate, at any tier, ever. Guest-facing pages collect the minimum needed to run your party, and what they do collect is held for you — see the Children’s Privacy Notice.
Availability and changes
A date is not reserved until the booking is confirmed. If we cannot fulfil a booking we tell you as early as we can and refund you in full. If a box arrives late we extend your access for free; if it misses the party entirely you get your money back and keep the digital version. Cancellation terms are in the Party Package & Equipment Agreement and on the pricing page.
Warranties and liability
We take real care with this — every kit is tested, sanitised and sealed, and we ship early so problems surface before party day. But the service is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be free of every fault. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything connected to a booking is limited to what you paid us for that booking. Nothing here limits liability we are not allowed to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for a defective product.
The equipment is for supervised play by children. It contains small parts and is not suitable for children under three. An adult sets it up.
Changes to these terms
We version these. An order is bound by the version you accepted when you booked — pinned at checkout, with the date and version recorded — not by whatever this page says a year later. If we change them materially we will tell you before your next booking, not quietly.
Where disputes go
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Bashcade, Inc. is organised, and by the courts there. Before anything formal, write to help@bashcade.com — almost everything is a misunderstanding about a box, a date or a refund, and those get fixed the same week.
