Reviews appear on this page after real parties have happened, written by the parents who hosted them. Until then this page stays empty, because a wall of invented quotes is the fastest way to lose the only thing that matters here.
The first reviews land after the first parties
Three weeks after a party we ask the host how it went. If they write something, and they tell us we may publish it, it shows up here with their first name and their city — and nothing more than that.
Our rules
What we will and will not do on this page
We will
- Publish reviews from parents who actually hosted a Bashcade party.
- Show a first name and a city, because that is enough to be real without being intrusive.
- Publish the bad ones too, with what we did about them.
- Show an average rating only once there are enough parties for it to mean something.
We will not
- Write reviews ourselves, or buy them, or run a five-star widget with nothing behind it.
- Publish a photograph of any child without written permission from their parent, per photo.
- Use a guest family's name or a child's full name, ever.
- Post a gifted-box review without saying it was gifted, right next to it.
If you have hosted a party and want to say something — good or bad — write to help@bashcade.com. We will ask before we publish anything, and we will take it down the moment you ask us to.
