How a round goes

Forty-five seconds on one open grid. You paint every tile you drive over, painting over anyone else's colour. Boost makes you twice as fast and widens your brush to a three-tile stripe — a paint roller for raiding enemy ground. You have three boosts, and one comes back every six seconds.

Blobs shove each other apart rather than stacking, so you can be barged off a line.

Scoring and winning

Most tiles in your colour at the buzzer wins; ties share.

With four players and the team row on, stations 1 and 3 play 2 and 4 and their tiles are added together. Alone you play Blobby, a bot who goes after your tiles; if Blobby wins, nobody does. Your tile count goes to the leaderboard.

Tips

  • Holding boost is never better than tapping it — it fires on the press and locks out between bursts.
  • Paint over the other colour, not the grey: a stolen tile is a point off them and a point to you.
